Case Study 1: Increase database – Mini Magazine
When Ben became a Your Client Matters partner our first challenge was to increase his database. Starting with only 17 names on his database we worked through a simple strategy using the magazine at the local chamber of commerce. We also performed a 20 minute exercise that got Ben thinking about all of the people that should be on his database, by working through his family, in-laws, friends, friends family and so on. By the end of this exercise we had upped database numbers to 45. We have managed to assist Ben in increasing his database in total through these simple strategies to 67.

Case Study 2: Strategic Alliances – Local Area Marketing
The second strategy we undertook with Ben was to start building strategic alliances in his local area.
Firstly Ben visited our website and download all the competition marketing material. Then Ben approached a few different cafes/restaurants and other local businesses in his area to build his profile within the local business district. He needed to explain his business and the benefits to the business owner for displaying the competition in their premises. Each entry/enquiry Ben receives from their business they in turn receive an entry into his great competition for their chance to WIN a $9500 flight centre travel voucher. Ben then setup posters, competition postcards and an entry box in 2 businesses. Within 3 weeks he had received 4 enquiries to enter the competition and 10 more contacts to add to his database.

Case Study 3: Marketing Templates
The third strategy was for Ben to use one of our many marketing letter templates available to him on our website. We decided to choose the “Lending Appraisals” letter. We then told Ben to put the walking shoes on and start letter box dropping the area in which he wanted to write business in. i.e. Drop in a high net worth area for high net worth clients. After distributing 250 letters, Ben has received 2 calls, 2 appointments & 2 loans. An excellent result for $100 and very little time all while getting some exercise as well!
