"This is a copy of an email I received! Yes! Evidence the newsletter is read & it does work! Hi Khristina, Happy new year to you - oh I know it is February, but I wish you all the best in '09. Thank you for the latest issue of your magazine. I'm looking at the article "7 reasons to call your mortgage broker this summer". I can think of two. I have been wondering about my fixed 7.15% which of course I have been most grateful for up til now. Now, I wonder about exit fees, and re-mortgaging at a lower fixed rate. I assume there will be a hefty exit fee, but as I still have a little less than 3 years to go, it might be worth it overall. The other thing is points 3 &4 - I would like to pay down my 2 credit cards, which have reached an embarrassing $15,000 altogether. And also have another say $10,000, as I now owe $8,301.81 in strata fees, due to the special levy being raised plus more fire compliance. At 3am, I think to myself - Just sell! - but I hope that maybe there is another way around it. I currently have a tenant in paying $250 per week. The fantasy of a second Melbourne home is receeding, but perhaps I can get Let me know if it is something you can help with, or whether selling might indeed be the better option"
My first edition has just been posted and I couldn't be happier. I have had approximately 10 clients contact me in the first week with referrals, appointments and more calls just to comment on the professional look of "my" newsletter. Steve Denver John Coelho Workshop inspired both of us. David is now organizing a footy tipping competition for our clients (add a bit of fun and play) and has realised the importance of keeping in touch with existing clients. He would too often blame too much paperwork and neglected our existing client base. We are now setting block times of 1 to 2 hours during the week just to phone clients to ensure that they are still OK with current loan arrangements and wether they, their family or friends require our assistance i.e. more loans. Also a great forum to exchange ideas with other brokers"
