    Deena Janes
    Managing Director

    Deena has spent over eighteen years investing in property, starting in her early 20s as an avid property investor. In this time she has purchased eight properties and has used eight mortgage brokers and several banks to finance her own property portfolio. Now how could this happen you may ask? Why would she use so many brokers? Because the brokers didn’t bother to stay in touch with her after the loan had settled. Something like that should never happen!

    Deena started her professional career as a high school teacher, teaching in adult re-entry schools and holds a Bachelor of Education, specialising in Maths and Computer Science. Purchasing her first property in her second year of teaching, and her first investment property only fourteen months after that, her passion for educating others was soon matched with the love of investing in property.

    Deena’s career history after teaching includes:
    • running a computer training centre for Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers and IT specialists,
    • selling and presenting in the finance industry for a national financial education company,
    • working with one of Australia’s leading marketing and business coaching companies where she learned many strategies to help owners build successful businesses,
    • 3 years as a Real Estate Agent for a boutique Real Estate Agency in Double Bay NSW.

    Her knowledge of building businesses and working in the finance and property industries has enabled her to create a dynamic marketing company supporting mortgage brokers to do the same.

    Her knowledge about business strategies and marketing ideas are now passed on to her mortgage broking clients through her workshops, educational seminars and marketing support personnel.

    Today, Deena is passionate about educating mortgage brokers to deliver the best possible service to their clients and to teach them how to build, grow and retain their client base. All brokers can adopt these simple and cost effective marketing strategies. Her workshops and seminars also motivate brokers to understand how and why they should invest in their client base by staying in touch with them, and educating them to refer and stay loyal. Deena and her marketing team teaches brokers how to create long term strategic alliances with local businesses and their centre’s of influence raising their profile with the local community.

    Joining Your Client Matters in September 2004 as the Director of Sales, Deena has taken the company to the top of the industry. Deena purchased 50% of the business within three months of working in it, then over the course of the subsequent two years she purchased the business outright, now being the sole owner for over three years. She is invited as a guest speaker to many aggregation professional development days and is highly regarded in the mortgage industry.
